Here is something I have wondered - (maybe a "loop hole" where a person may would have their pet in eternity may sound crazy but anyway) 1. We know the Bible says that the saved will be like Christ when we get our glorified body. 2. The Bible says that if we have the faith of a mustard seed that we can move a mountain and NOTHING will be impossible to us. 3. The disciples were given the ability to cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead. 4. We know by the bible that God loves his bride and wants to lavish us with gifts - Mansion, streets of gold, eternal life and joy etc... so with all that taking into account in eternity if John Doe that is in his glorified body shouts something along the lines of "Come here Spot, come on good boy!" and expects him to come I wonder what might happen?

The Holy Spirit is recieved on as a permanently indwelling presence by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That is why John the baptist made such a point of the fact that he baptized in water but Jesus would baptize in the Holy Spirit which is to be filled to overflowing. In the O.T. the prophets had the Spirit of God come upon them and fill them but then depart for a time. This was because God had not yet allowed believers to recieve the permanently indwelling presence. Three times believers recieved the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts and three times the first thing that happened was that they spoke in " tongues". Many times the Word will repeat a spiritual truth three times to confirm it so that the necessity of continually repeating it is unnecessary. Not everyone will recieve the gift of speaking in tongues but every born again christian speaks in tongues. Paul said that the gifts were for the edification of a church gathering while he says that those who pray in an unknown tongue edify themselves. The gift of speaking in tongues in a church gathering works together with a believer with the gift of interpretation of tongues in order to edify and build up a church group. While those praying in tongues edify and build up themselves. Both involve the one same spiritual language but with two separate operations.

We lived in a 10’x55’ trailer and drove a junky old vehicle back in the late 80’s when we were in our early 20’s. We wanted to get a new car so we got one and couldn’t afford it after paying tithes first. My sinning brother in law took over car note and we went back to driving junky old car. I thought we would be blessed?? It was the church who put fear in us that we would be robbing God but it was the people in bible who was robbing God of not giving tithes of FOOD, not us. You can’t put bible verses like that on people today. Churches are the one who turned tithes of food grown into paychecks for fundraisers.

I agree that temptation is not sin but to follow through with the temptation is we are born with a sin nature. And Jesus will forgive a sinner if they repent however if a person keep walking in willful sin and tell Jesus or others this is the way I am that person Christian or not will not go to heaven. ( HEB. 5:9 ) ( HEB. 10:26-27 ) are just a few scriptures that we can use for understanding. So if the homesexal is still practicing willful open homesexal lifestyle the person has rejected Jesus and a place in Heaven. No one can practice a willful lifestyle is truly filled with the Holy Spirit. We must repeat and turn from the sin nature. ( 1 Cor. 13:6 ) .

I miss you Capone- my dog just died today and I needed a lot of comfort as I have had him half my life. It was truly hard because he died in my arms. I did the best i could you to save him. But God wanted them pain to stop. He didn’t suffer too much.
